L322 Labyrinth Fire Het Carbon Snow

So here’s a not so great one. The mother was expected to drop around the 25th of July. Instead, she dropped 7/7/22. What we had hoped for was to see a few Aztecs in the litter. What we found were 9 Slugs, 1 Stillborn and 0.2 Live. Wait, we’re not done yet. Not only was the litter 20 days early, there were no premature babies. There’s more! There was a Super Fire in the litter. What does that mean? That means the mother produced this baby through Parthenogenesis and the male(s) had no play in this creation. “Well, what about the others?” The other living baby is what looks to be a Labyrinth Fire. Was it produced by the male(s)? That will remain a mystery until if/when she is bred. We are still waiting the them to shed, but are a few pics..

What it looks like is that the Laby Fire may be a clone of the mother. We are hoping to see colors and characteristics of the Laby Fire litter L121. Whether or not there are similarities, we will be holding them back. What about the DOA? It was a much nicer Laby Fire, and yes, it was also a female.

Note, this was not our first partho litter. In 2017, we paired an Aztec DH Carbon Snow female with a VPI Male we produced in 2014. That litter had a great share of visual VPIs, normals and Aztecs, including a Carbon Super Aztec. You can read more about that in the L121 update.

Thanks!
