L442 Post Shed Pics

All the babies shed and took a meal 10 days after being born.

We hoped to see more clearly any of the IMGs post shed, but it looks like that will have to wait before we can say with any certainty whether they are or not. The things we will look for are the darkening of saddles and flecking, especially between the tail saddles. Those that have the flecking will be considered possible IMG for now.

There are two obvious RLT/Labyrinth combos, and one possible. We’re focusing on the Laby pattern disruption and faint BCC saddle hints. Those without or with little dorsal pattern are suspect for now. The eyes are also different in these combos as they have a more circular pupil while dilated and contracted.

And the Fires. It looks like 6 out of 7 are Fires. The interesting thing about them is that some look Anery, while some have the typical pink sides. This coloration may intensify with age, so we’ll have to wait and see. With previous Laby Fire litters, it took a few sheds before they started to reveal their potential.

So, as expected there will be some learning curves and patience needed. However, I personally had no idea with this multi patterned, multi color combo would produce. I had hoped for a busy, Laby and RLT full length saddle, but got quite the opposite!

See for yourselves.
